Establishing reference photograph of a place: Cluttered inventor's workshop at first frame, empty of people. Wooden benches heaped with brass gears, springs and tools. A hanging work lamp rests still on its hook, its small warm bulb glowing. The back wall is covered with old clocks, all in place, with a round mirror mounted beside them. Cold blue ambient light fills the room, with dust floating in the air and brass-gold glints on metal. Eye-level medium view, quiet and eerie, in blue and brass tones.
